Blessing of Anaheim Jollibee

I was given a chance to photograph the event that Anaheim Jollibee is having. Jollibee is a Filipino fast-food restaurant that serves friend chicken, spaghetti, fiesta palabok, shanghai rolls. This event took place on September 30, 2011. The store will be opened on October 1st, 2011.

The lenses I used are 18-55mm f5.6 and 55-250mm f4. I also added an external flash but unfortunately it ran out of battery.

Here are some of the photos that I took.

Maddy R

Maddy R is a good friend of mine who asked me to do a photoshoot for her portfolio. I might not be the best one out there but I’m just starting and hopefully over the years, I will improve.

These images are not retouched. I am hoping over the years, my shots would not need any retouching at all.

I used a 18-55mm with f4.0, ISO 100, and I believe 1/320th second.

Masquerade

This is the first time I shot someone who has a props, in this case her own-made mask. In this, sunny environment it was hard to find a location where it is suited to pose. As her request, she told me that anywhere would be fine. So I went

This was shot with a Canon 550D with 18-55m lens, f5.6, and I believe with a ISO 100. This is actually a practice for me to shoot in manual, it turned out okay but there are a lot of improvements to do.

What do you think of the shots? What are the things that I need to improve by seeing this shot?

BBQ Quick Shoot

What is the best way to spend some time when waiting for some friends to arrive? Take some quick photoshoot with some friends.

Good thing that my friends agreed to take some shot while we wait for some of our friends to arrive.

I’m not a big fan of black and white, but since my friend insist of using B&W, I did do so. Indeed, B&W does look good with this shot.

What do you think of this shot, would colored image would be better for this kind of shot?
